Saradha scam: Mitra's custody ends today
Mitra has accused the CBI of pressuring him to take the name of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee in the scam.

Kolkata: Arrested by the CBI in multi-crore Saradha chit fund scam, West Bengal Transport Minister Madan Mitra's police custody ends on Friday.

Mitra has accused the CBI of pressuring him to take the name of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee in the scam.

Mitra was arrested on December 12 by the CBI, which is probing the scam following a Supreme Court order, on various charges including conspiracy and misappropriation of funds.
