New Delhi: More trouble is up for Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh as a PIL against him comes up for hearing before the Delhi High Court on Wednesday.
The NGO Common Cause has filed the PIL seeking an independent probe into corruption, money-laundering and disproportionate assets charges against Virbhadra including the ones levelled by BJP leader Arun Jaitley.
The Central Bureau of Investigation is also investigating the Congress leader's Income Tax documents filed between 2010 and 2011 after his I-T returns claimed that his income from agriculture increased manifold from Rs 15 lakh to nearly 3 crore in two years time.
The Congress leader was in news recently when Jaitley accused him of favouring a private power company and receiving kickbacks in return from the deal.
