Nitish raised the demand for Backward Reserve Fund for Bihar for the development of the state.
New Delhi: Keeping aside their differences, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Thursday met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and discussed issues regarding fund allocation.
Nitish raised the demand for Backward Reserve Fund for Bihar for the development of the state.
"We have made one thing clear that Bihar needs assistance because of the new schemes of the government," he said.
This was the first time that the two leaders met after Modi became Prime Minister and Nitish came back as Bihar Chief Minister.
The two leaders had not missed any opportunity to attack each other and Modi's elevation in the BJP had prompted Kumar to pull JD(U) out of NDA in June, 2013 after being part of the alliance for 17 years.
