6. Morena is a state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the state of Madhya Pradesh and is part of Morena Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Morena falls in Morena district and Chambal region of Madhya Pradesh. It is categorised as a semi-urban seat.
There are a total of 2,37,348 voters in the seat, which includes 1,32,203 male voters, and 1,05,135 female voters. In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh elections, Morena recorded a voter turnout of 62.98%. In 2013 the turnout was 59.89%, and in 2008 it was 57.89%.
In 2013, Rustam Singh of BJP won the seat by a margin of 1,704 votes (1.21%). Rustam Singh secured 40.24% of the total votes polled.
BSP won this seat in the 2008 Assembly elections with a margin of 5,336 votes (5.25%), registering 38.63% of the total votes polled.
In the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, BJP led in the Morena Assembly segment of the Morena Parliamentary/Lok Sabha constituency.
