16. Lunkaransar is a state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the state of Rajasthan and is part of Bikaner (SC) Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Lunkaransar falls in Bikaner district and North region of Rajasthan. It is categorised as a rural seat.
There are a total of 2,24,215 voters in the seat, which includes 1,19,352 male voters, and 1,04,863 female voters. In the 2018 Rajasthan elections, Lunkaransar recorded a voter turnout of 76.12%. In 2013 the turnout was 77.25%, and in 2008 it was 60.5%.
In 2013, Manik Chand Surana of IND won the seat by a margin of 4,817 votes (3.25%). Manik Chand Surana secured 35.4% of the total votes polled.
INC won this seat in the 2008 Assembly elections with a margin of 23,603 votes (22.27%), registering 44.4% of the total votes polled.
