146. Kurwai is a state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the state of Madhya Pradesh and is part of Sagar Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Kurwai falls in Vidisha district and Malwa North region of Madhya Pradesh. It is categorised as a rural seat.
There are a total of 2,06,178 voters in the seat, which includes 1,09,161 male voters, and 97,017 female voters. In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh elections, Kurwai recorded a voter turnout of 74.45%. In 2013 the turnout was 70.92%, and in 2008 it was 65.45%.
