The bail restrictions imposed on the accused include that he should not enter Kannur district for two months.
Thiruvananthapuram: CPM's Kannur district Secretary P Jayarajan has been granted bail in the case related to the murder of RSS activist Kathiroor Manoj. Jayarajan was booked for conspiracy and he was the 25th accused in the case.
The bail restrictions imposed on the accused include that he should not enter Kannur district for two months. Jayarajan e was remanded to judicial custody on February 12.
Currently, P Jayarajan is undergoing treatment. The CPM has, meanwhile, maintained that it is a political conspiracy by the BJP-RSS and the Congress is supporting it. He was booked under UAPA.
RSS leader Manoj was killed on September 1, 2014. He was one among the persons accused of making an unsuccessful bid on the life of Jayarajan in 1999.
