The DM has also asked the Superintendent of Police to investigate into the matter and if required register case against the cinestar.

later an FIR was lodged against Dutt for his remarks against Mayawati.

This is the second FIR against the film star in less than a week's time. Earlier a case was filed against him for allegedly making communal remarks during an election rally in Mau district.

On April 16, Sanjay Dutt, accompanied by another Samajwadi Party General Secretary Amar Singh and Independent MLA Raghuraj Pratap Singh alias Raja Bhaiyya, while addressing an election meeting under Kotwali police station in Pratapgarh Lok Sabha constituency had made some objectionable remark on the Chief Minister.

The SP leaders were campaigning for party candidate Akshya Pratap Singh, cousin of Raja Bhaiyya, in the meeting.

This would be the second time when the Bollywood star was involved in a controversy during electioneering in the state.

On April 14, a criminal case under section 171(H) of the IPC was registered against him at Dakshintola police station in Mau district for making a communal remark during an election meeting.

At that meeting Sanjay had said that he was implicated in the Mumbai blast case only because his mother was a Muslim.
