Did not meet President with YSR Congress delegation: Sitaram Yechury

New Delhi: CPI(M) leader Sitaram Yechury tonight rubbished reports that he had met President Pranab Mukherjee with a YSR Congress delegation.

Terming the reports as "completely fabricated", Yechury said, "There is no question of my going to meet the honourable President at all."

He said he had a day-long meeting of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Transport, Tourism and Culture, of which he is the Chairman.

The reports had said he had accompanied a YSR Congress delegation led by its honorary president YS Vijayamma to meet the President.
