On Friday, the Comptroller and Auditor General of India pulled up the Oil Ministry over Reliance KG-D6 audit report.
New Delhi: Hours after it was reported that the Comptroller and Auditor General of India (CAG) pulled up the Oil Ministry over Reliance KG-D6 audit report, Congress General Secretary Digvijaya Singh hit out at CAG Vinod Rai, asking him to first control his own office.
The senior Congress leader tweeted on Saturday, saying, "The CAG has to stop the sermonising and instead look into his leaky office."
On Friday, it was reported that the CAG told the Oil Ministry that it should have been consulted before agreeing to the terms of Reliance India Limited for the KG-D6 audit. The CAG told the ministry that many of RIL's conditions were "restrictive" that impinged upon the CAG's mandate.
