Congress seeks PMC's support for Lok Sabha elections

Puducherry: The Congress is seeking Puducherry Munnetra Congress’ support for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

Union Minister of state for Planning and Parliamentary Affairs and AICC General Secretary V Narayanasamy met PMC founder leader P Kannan in Puducherry in this regard.

The meeting held at PMC leader’s office and was attended by Puducherry Chief Minister V Vaithilingam, Welfare Minister M Kandasamy, PCC President A V Subramanian and three PMC legislators.

After the meeting, Narayanasamy told presspersons that “Kannan is our old friend and he was originally from the Congress party.”

Menawhile, Kannan said PMC's poll strategy would be discussed in its high level committee meeting on Saturday.
