Congress 5th list today, party to name candidate against Modi

New Delhi: The Congress is likely to announce its fifth list of Lok Sabha candidates on Friday.

All eyes will be on who the party will field in Varanasi against BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi. Reports have said that the party will field Digvijaya Singh against Modi. However, the Congress is yet to confirm it.

The other big seats that are expected to be announced are Amritsar and Ludhiana.

Congress sources had said that the party high command was considering Captain Amarinder Singh to fight from Amritsar against Arun Jaitley.
