New Delhi: A Delhi court on Friday granted bail to Rajya Sabha MP Vijay Darda in the coal blocks allocation case. Darda, a Congress leader, was chargesheeted by the Central Bureau of Investigation in March.
Darda, along with others, was charged with criminal conspiracy and cheating.
CBI said that Darda and his company AMR Iron and Steel Pvt ltd misrepresented the facts and provided incorrect information at the time of the allocations. The CBI also said that the company violated the eligibility criteria set for the allocation.
