New Delhi: The funeral procession of late Prime Minister Chandra Shekhar will begin on Monday at 1600 hrs from his South Avenue residence and end at Ekta Sthal.
The full state funeral will take place at 1700 hrs at Ekta Sthal, an official release said.
The body of the leader will lie in state from 0900 hrs onwards at his residence.
The national flag will fly at half-mast for seven days (July 8-14), as a mark of respect to the departed leader.
All the Central Government offices/establishments will remain closed on July 9 after 0130 hrs to facilitate the mourners to join the funeral.

Chandra Shekhar passed away Sunday morning after a prolonged battle with cancer. The Samajwadi Janata Party leader died at 08:30 hours IST at Delhi’s Apollo Hospital where he was being treated for the past three-months.
