Arun Jaitley said Congress should be more vigorous in speaking against terror than BJP.
Rajya Sabha was adjourned on Thursday following an uproar by Opposition members over a statement read out by Union HRD Minister Smriti Irani.
While replying to a debate on Hyderabad Central University scholar Rohith Vemula’s suicide and JNU sedition row, Irani read from a pamphlet circulated by one of student organisations over a festival.
This however sparked angry protests from Congress and CPI(M) MPs who said it would set a dangerous precedent if members started reading out inflammatory material in the House.
