New Delhi: The discussion on black money which began on Wednesday is expected to continue in Lok Sabha on the forth day of the winter session in Parliament on Thursday.
After replying in Rajya Sabha on Wednesday, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley is expected to reply in Lok Sabha on Thursday. Jaitley had in Rajya Sabha said that the government will pro-actively chase those having black money and will not rest till the last account is identified.
Jaitley said that the identity of 427 account holders abroad has been established and 250 of them have admitted to having accounts, he said adding that the government is on the right track in bringing back illicit money stashed abroad.
Bringing back black money stashed abroad is a procedure which will take time, he said while responding to attack by opposition parties which questioned non-fulfillment of the poll promise of BJP leaders of getting the illicit money back in 100 days.
Meanwhile, in dramatic scenes witnessed in the House, members of Congress, TMC, JDU, Samajwadi Party and CPM, staged a walkout even before Jaitley could conclude his reply.
Apart from black money, the Delhi Police Special Police Establishment Act which was passed in Lok Sabha on Wednesday is likely to be passed in Rajya Sabha on Thursday. The Bill
