New Delhi: There is hectic political activity in Andhra Pradesh. Top BJP leader Venkaiah Naidu was in Hyderabad on Tuesday trying to win over the Third Front's leading light and TDP's N Chandrababu Naidu.
But the TDP is believed to be reluctant to switch over because Naidu thinks his past stint with the NDA has hurt his party in Andhra Pradesh.
"I am not naming any party. Any party which is willing to support Advani as the PM, willing to work along with the NDA, is welcome. There are number of people who are inclined towards us but i don't want to name any party, any leader. I don't want to talk to anybody till the counting is over on May 16. Till then whatever appears on the media is all speculation," said Venkaiah Naidu.
The party is also aiming to woo the Telengana Rashtra Samiti (TRS), promising the leaders of the party that they would help them create a separate state.
"TRS attending the rally definitely strengthens the party. They have a particular demand, the creation of Telangana state. They are convinced that the BJP and the NDA will create that separate state. That's why they have come forward to work with us and we will be working along with them," he added.
The BJP is also eyeing a tie up with AIADMK's Jayalalitha in Tamil Nadu and Trinamool Congress' Mamata Banerjee in West Bengal.
Meanwhile, the potential game-changer in Andhra Pradesh and Praja Rajyam Party Chief Chiranjeevi says a strong fourth front will emerge post polls. He says that there is no chance of any bargaining.
"TRS has almost joined NDA and Left parties have a leaning towards the UPA. We are confident of getting the maximum figures. We do not need any other support. The people and their verdict are with us. We will see how the fourth front will emerge post polls. We are confident of getting around 160 seats, so no chance of any kind of bargaining," says Chiranjeevi.
