New Delhi: Anna Hazare on Monday dismissed reports of a rift in his team, asserting they will stand united and negative publicity will not affect them.
"Nothing will affect our integrity--neither the negative publicity doing rounds about Team Anna and nor the factors trying to create a rift in our team. Team Anna will stand united and strive hard for the effective implementation of Janlokpal Bill," Hazare said in his latest blog posting.
His remarks came amidst reports of serious differences creeping-in in Team Anna on some important issues facing his campaign.
Some members were taken by surprise on Hazare's stand that the Core Committee will decide on the continuance of lawyer Prashant Bhushan, who had created a controversy by advocating plebiscite in Jammu and Kashmir, in the team.
Hazare has also tweaked his campaign against Congress, saying he will work with Congress across the country if the UPA government brings a strong Lokpal Bill in the winter session of Parliament and keeps its words on other reforms.
The Gandhian has also decided to wait till the end of the winter session to embark on a 'yatra' in Uttar Pradesh, contrary to the earlier decision of hitting the streets against Congress in the state soon after Dusshera.
