New Delhi: The Aam Aadmi Party has stepped up its advertisement war against the Delhi Police and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. More posters have been put up attacking the Prime Minister in a snide manner, alleging that he has no time to check what it calls the deteriorating law and order situation in the state.

On Thursday Delhi Police chief BS Bassi had hit back calling the AAP advertisements misleading. AAP had launched its advertising campaign following the stabbing of a 19 year old girl by eve-teasers last week. AAP has been demanding that the Centre hand over control of Delhi police to it.

The BJP criticised the party's actions as being diversionary tactics. "This is done to divert attention from lack of delivery. Other political parties don't see a future as long as Modi is in power, that's what has got them all rattled and frustrated," said Jitendra Singh, MoS PMO.

Radio and newspaper advertisements have also been issued by the Delhi government to convey the message.
