New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party MLA Manoj Kumar's office was ransacked on Saturday afternoon. The AAP leader claimed that the supporters of a Bahujan Samaj Party councillor were behind the attack on his office. Kumar said that the volunteers present in his office suffered minor injuries during the incident. He added that few computers were damaged and the attackers even took away some projectors.
Kumar said that there was a dispute between him and the BSP leader because of water accumulating due to the construction of a high drain in the area.
This was a second such incident after a group of 30 to 40 people had attacked the AAP's office in Kaushambi, protesting against party leader Prashant Bhushan's comments on Kashmir.
The Hindu Rakshak Dal had claimed responsibility for the attack with its activist Vishnu Gupta saying that Bhushan was a "traitor" and his comments on withdrawal of the Army from Jammu and Kashmir were "anti-national".
