UP Police Recruitment 2023: Registration Begins For 91 Sub-Inspector Posts at uppbpb.gov.in

The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has invited online applications for the recruitment of Sub-Inspector under Sports Quota. Interested candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can submit their applications for the vacancies on the official website of Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board at uppbpb.gov.in. The application process is underway and candidates must note that the last date to apply for the post is until January 9, 2024. However, the last date for paying the application fee is January 11.

This recruitment campaign is being conducted to fill up a total of 91 vacancies for meritorious sports personnel for the post of sub-inspector in the Uttar Pradesh Police under the skilled player quota. Out of the above-mentioned vacancies, 56 posts are for men and 35 are for women.

UP Police Recruitment 2023: Eligibility Criteria

Age limit: The age of the candidate should be between the age of 21 to 27 years as of July 1, 2023 to be eligible for the post.

Educational Qualification: Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in any Stream from any recognized university in India. Candidates must also have participated in International / National Games, All India Inter University Tournament, Federation Cup National Junior / Senior, National Championship Junior / Senior, All India Inter State Championship Senior, Etc.

Step 1: Candidates need to go to the official website of the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board at uppbpb.gov.in.

Step 2: Under ‘Top 7 Notices’ available on the webpage, click on the official notification for the UP Police SI recruitment

Step 3: Click on ‘New registration’ on the candidate portal and proceed with the application form

Step 4: Fill out the application form as directed in the form

Step 5: Upload scanned documents in the prescribed format and pay the prescribed application fee

Step 6: Submit and download a copy of the submitted application form for future records.

UP Police Recruitment 2023: Application fee

Candidates from all categories are required to pay an application fee of Rs 400 at the time of registration. It is to be noted that the application fee has to be submitted through Challan in the main branch of the State Bank of India (SBI) in the concerned district on the account number mentioned in the official notification.
