Reliance Jio’s network services have been selected by Indian Oil Corporation to connect a fifth of its petrol pump network. This statement was released on December 22, according to the Mint. Jio is set to connect 7,200 Indian Oil Corporation sites with SD-WAN managed service solutions. This will have zero-touch provisioning and 24×7 real-time monitoring. As per the deal, these outlets will be in place for a period of 5 years.
The Mint report also reported that Reliance Jio’s Head Enterprise Prateek Pashine said, “We look forward to support IOC’s digital transformation journey by implementing the largest SD-WAN network in the country with our ‘Made in India’ managed network solution.” He also added, “Our extensive experience in large-scale deployments equips us with the technical expertise to support IOC in achieving higher performance benchmarks across their network and leverage Jio’s connectivity at each of the 7,200 sites.”
The WAN links that are going to be provided are currently deployed by Jio in offices, factories, and warehouses. These can be found across government, banks, and large and small businesses.
