GATE 2024: Candidates who want to edit the information they have submitted in their form can do so at gate2024.iisc.ac.in on or before November 24

The Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru is set to open the application correction window for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2024. Candidates who want to amend or edit the information they have submitted in their form can do so at gate2024.iisc.ac.in, the official website of the IISC GATE. The corrective window will come to an end on November 24.

Candidates would have to pay a fee of Rs 500 to make modifications to their application form. If a candidate must switch from female to any other gender, or from SC/ST to any other category, or from PwD/Dyslexic to Non-PwD/Dyslexic, the fee has been set at Rs 1400.

GATE 2024 application form: How to make corrections

Step 1: Go to the IISC GATE official website at gate2024.iisc.ac.in.

Step 2: From the home page, select the GATE 2024 link.

Step 3: After logging in, your application form will be shown on the screen.

Step 4: Make any necessary modifications to the application form and pay the administrative fees.

Step 5: Once finished, click the submit button.

Step 6: Save the confirmation document and retain a printed copy for future reference.

Students who want to enrol in courses in engineering, technology, science, architecture, and the humanities must take the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering.

IISc Bangalore will be releasing the GATE 2024 admit cards on January 3, 2024, and the test will be held on February 3, 4, 10, and 11, 2024. The candidate response sheet will be available on the Internet on February 16, and the answer keys will be available on February 21. The deadline for registering an objection to the answer key will be February 25. The GATE 2024 results will be revealed on March 16 followed by which the scorecard will be available on March 23.

GATE 2024 will take place over three hours as a computer-based test (CBT). The examination will consist of 30 test papers. Each exam is divided into two parts: General Aptitude (GA) and the Candidate’s Selected Subject(s). GATE 2024 has 65 questions, comprising 10 from the general aptitude part and 55 from the subject chosen by the applicants. One or two marks will be awarded for each question. There will be negative markings for each incorrect MCQ answer.
