Music has never failed to bring joy into people’s lives. Especially if it was a song by an angelic voice like Asha Bhosle. Every note hitting home and never missing a beat, Asha Bhosle is considered to be one of the most prominent singers in Bollywood. The veteran singer turned 89 on 8th September. On the special day, her granddaughter Zanai Bhosle penned a beautiful poem for her grandmother. She took to her Instagram to share the video and wrote the poem in the caption.

In the video, Asha and Zanai both are seen on a stage, singing together while looking at each other. The special element, however, is the poem that Zanai wrote along with the video.
Zanai, who is following in her grandmother’s footsteps to become a singer, in the caption wrote, “89" followed by a heart emoji. Then came her poem, which read, “Har insaan chaahta hai ki voh aapki tarah gaa sake Aapne aavaz toh de di mujhe, Lekin pechaan banana bhi sikhiya, Ek acha insaan banna sikhaya Aasman ko chuna aapne sikhaya, Lekin pairon ko zameen par rakhana bhi sikhaya Mere khwabon ko aapne hi theek samjha Aur beshaq sahaara dena aapka farz bhi samjha Mere kaabiliyat mein rakha aapne bharosa Aur pure dil se diya mujhe pyaar dher saara Din ho ya raat, Ashaai, tum hamesha rahogi mere saath Tumhaari har ek saans ke saath loongi main bhari hui saans Mere dil ki dhadkan ki tarah, Jab tak hai jaan!"
Fans also came forward and filled the comment section with best wishes for Asha Bhosle. One of them wrote, “Happy birthday asha tai," another one commented, “Happy birthday to the Goddess of Music."
