Navya Naveli Nanda, the granddaughter of Amitabh Bachchan, recently launched her podcast, What the Hell Navya. In the first episode, the podcast saw three generations of the Bachchan family – Jaya Bachchan, Shweta Bachchan and Navya coming together and sharing insight into friendship, family, and personal and professional lives.
The podcast began on a highly energetic note and a loving banter between the three. During one of the segments, Jaya Bachchan was asked about her lockdown friendships, and she responded with “Navya and Shweta". “It’s a confession and it’s the truth because I feel that I can say anything that they like, they can tell me off, especially Shweta. I think you need that because without somebody telling you, you don’t grow. Even at my age, I would want to grow," confessed the veteran actress.

Navya was recently in the news for imbibing her grandmother’s Bengali roots as she could be seen vibing to the pandal mood. She posted a video on Instagram, wherein Navya fried some food with Jaya Bachchan at her side, played the ‘dhaak’, danced to the rhythmic beats, and captioned the video with, “Subho Bijoya Dashami & “Joys Chat Pata Corner".
Instead of stepping into the film industry just like her grandparents, Navya followed the footsteps of her father, Nikhil Nanda, and took the entrepreneurial plunge. While she was being touted as the next star kid on the block, Navya did not find interest in acting.
