Actress Saba Azad is no stranger to online trolls. She often gets trolled for being in a relationship with Hrithik Roshan, but the actress usually doesn’t let these comments faze her. However, this week, she was trolled for a different reason. A video of her dancing on a runway during Fashion Week surfaced online and led to a barrage of comments from internet users.
In the video, the actress donned a golden crop top with matching pants and a jacket and danced her heart out on the runway. She looked like she was not concerned about others and was completely enjoying the moment. As soon as the video went viral, netizens expressed their views with very harsh words in the comments section.
One person took things a little further when he messaged Saba and told her “You need therapy”. The actress did not let this slide and addressed this situation publicly on her Instagram story. Saba shared a screenshot of the chat and wrote, “Why yes sir/madam spud!! I tend to agree and I get it on the regular as should everyone else for existing in a world as consumed by hate as ours, you should try it!! It helps you fill your own tanks and thus not get so deeply offended by the peaceful existence of others :)”
Recently, Saba opened up about getting hate on social media because of her personal life, and how it took a toll on her. “It’s taken me quite some time to come to a place where I treat everything else as white noise because hatred is palpable. I am not made of stone, it hits you. You feel like shit. There are days when you wake up and you wonder ‘What did I do to anyone?’ ‘What did I do to you?’ ‘I am living my life, you live yours’ ‘Why are you waiting for my blood?’ But at some point, you realise you are not responsible for how people think and what they are projecting on you or what they are going through. It has nothing to do with you. Once you realise that, peace prevails,” she told India Today.
