Raveena Tandon REACTS After Liking a Post Trolling Agastya, Khushi in The Archies: 'I Wasn't Even...'
Raveena Tandon clarified her stand after she was seen 'liking' a post that criticised Khushi Kapoor and Agastya Nanda's acting in The Archies.

Raveena Tandon has apologised after she ‘accidentally’ liked a post that criticised Agastya Nanda and Khushi Kapoor’s acting in The Archies. The Zoya Akhtar film released on Netflix last week and has been receiving mixed reactions since. The film, which marked Agastya, Khushi and Suhana Khan’s debut, is being discussed widely on social media. While many have liked the look and feel of the movie, a few have criticised the performances. One of the social media pages trolled Agastya and Khushi, and Raveena was seen liking the post.

Her social media activity came to everyone’s notice and soon, the news of her liking a post criticising the star kids went viral. Now, Raveena has issued an apology to The Archies team. She said she wasn’t aware about her social media activity and apologised to everyone.

“Touch buttons and social media. A genuine mistake has been blown out of proportion. The like was made in error and something that I was not even aware of that had been pressed by scrolling. I sincerely apologise for any inconvenience and hurt it may have caused,” Raveena wrote in her note. She shared it on Instagram with the caption, “‍♀️.”

Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies released on Netflix on December 7 and promises to take the audience down memory lane. The Archies is an Indian adaptation of the American comic book series centred in the fictional town of Riverdale. It brings the characters of Archie, Veronica, Betty, Reggie, Dilton, Jughead, and Big Ethel to life in a 1960s hill town. Speaking about the film, Zoya told PTI, “Fans want nostalgia, a walk down memory lane and familiarity, but the generation today, who have not read the comics, they need something that holds them to the story. We had to take themes that matter to Gen Z and mix it with nostalgia to cook the film together.”
