Ranbir Kapoor has spilled the beans on his daughter Raha Kapoor’s equation with his cousin Kareena Kapoor’s eldest son Taimur Ali Khan. It’s no secret that Ranbir and Kareena are quite close so it’s natural for their kids to bond with each other. During a recent fan interaction on Zoom, Ranbir revealed how Raha and Taimur’s first meeting went.
Ranbir also said that he was quite “starstruck” upon meeting his nephew Taimur for the first time. Describing Raha’s encounter with Taimur and Jeh, Ranbir shared that the kids have been to each other’s houses, but given Raha is a toddler, she cannot recognise people.
“She’s barely recognising me now, and I must say that I am her favorite, more than mama (Alia) also,” Ranbir jokingly said.
Ranbir also shared his and wife Alia Bhatt’s plans for Raha’s first birthday in November. “We’re gonna have a small birthday party for her at home with just family and cousins, so looking forward to that,” he said.
Meanwhile, he joked that Alia might ‘kill’ him if he shows their daughter’s photo. The actor was seated for a long chat with a selected group of fans over Zoom when a fan asked him if she could see Raha’s photo. Ranbir admitted that he loves showing Raha’s photos but he would get pulled up by Alia if he showed Raha’s photo in the public domain. However, he promised to show her photo after the recording ended.
For the unversed, Ranbir and Alia have decided to keep Raha away from the spotlight. The couple, who welcomed Raha last November, had met with the paparazzi earlier this year and requested them to not take photos of Raha.
