A fire broke out on one of the top floors of a 14-storey residential complex at Tilaknagar in Mumbai. The blaze started around 12.30 pm in an apartment on the fifth floor of Sahajivan Tower, officials said.
The fire was contained to the electric wiring and installations, household items, and clothing within the apartment.
According to TOI, at least four fire engines and additional fire brigade equipment were dispatched to the scene upon receiving the alert. Firefighters were able to extinguish the blaze in around 30 minutes.
