Karan Johar recently released the promo for Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh’s episode of his chat show Koffee With Karan 8. The internet has since gone into a frenzy, gushing over the couple’s chemistry and hot looks. Since Karan confirmed the reports of Deepika and Ranveer opening this season of the show, fans are waiting with bated breath for him to reveal the rest of his guest list. Now, the latest reports claim that Rani Mukerji and Kajol will be appearing together on the show.
According to India Today, Rani Mukerji and Kajol will be reunited on Karan Johar’s Koffee With Karan 8 after 16 years. The duo had last appeared on the show together in 2007. The report quoted a source as saying, “Kajol and Rani Mukerji have given their nods to shoot for an episode together. The two distant cousins from the industry last appeared together in 2007 along with Shah Rukh Khan. This is the first time they will appear together in KWK after Season 2. Karan has a lot of fun things planned for the duo.”
Earlier, reports also claimed that Kartik Aaryan and Karan Johar would quash their feud on the show this season. However, according to Times Now, the Satyaprem Ki Katha actor has turned down the offer to appear on Karan’s show. The report quoted a source as saying, “Kartik doesn’t feel he is ready yet to face Karan’s no-holds-barred grilling yet. He is too shy, and not ready for the bare-all experience. Of course, people will jump to the conclusion that Kartik and Karan’s patch-up in Toronto last month was a hoax. But this isn’t true. Kartik is not doing Koffee With Karan, but he is definitely doing a film with Karan, and the announcement will happen sooner than later.”
However, the actor hasn’t reacted to any reports yet. There has also been no confirmation from Rani or Kajol yet. The show will begin streaming from October 26 this year.
