Early on Saturday, a surprise attack by Hamas militants from Gaza resulted in the death of at least 22 Israelis. In response, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared a state of “war”. Israel’s national rescue service reported that the Hamas incursion led to the death of at least 22 people and left hundreds wounded, marking the deadliest operation within Israeli territory in years.
Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut took to Instagram to express shock and grief over what is happening in Israel. She wrote, “It’s is impossible to scroll through SM and not get jolted/scarred/ appalled or deeply disturbed looking at Israeli women pictures, even their corpses are being raped and molested by terrorists. One such corpse of a woman soldier is being paraded naked, it broke me in to million pieces, my heart goes out to Israel and it’s girls and women, evert martyr deserves a dignified death #israel (sic).
Kangana had also taken to Instagram earlier today to comment on the Mahadev betting case. The actress, known for her controversial remarks, wrote, “This endorsement came to me almost 6 times over a span of one year, every time they added several crores to the offer to buy me but I said NO each time, look anymore, yeh integrity is not good just for your conscience anymore, yeh naya Baharat hai, sudhar jao nahi toh sudhar diye jaoge (sic). She added a laugh emoji and Indian Flag emojis with the comment.
Meanwhile, on the work front, the trailer of her next, Tejas, is gearing up for its release on October 8. The film aims to celebrate the true spirit of patriotism, and hence the makers thought of releasing the trailer on Air Force Day. Produced by RSVP, Tejas stars Kangana Ranaut in the titular Role. Written and Directed By Sarvesh Mewara and Produced By Ronnie Screwvala, the film is scheduled to release in Theatres on October 27th, 2023.
