Amid much wait and anticipation, Shah Rukh Khan’s pan-India spectacle Jawan, with the visionary directors Atlee got released worldwide on September 7. While we wait for the reviews to come pouring in, the craze behind SRK’s mass film is unprecedented across the country. While there are many surprises stored in for the fans who’ll turn up to watch Jawan, an unlikely cameo has pleasantly surprised everyone.
Among the songs in the music album of Jawan, Zinda Banda has rightly become the anthem of this season. The song that was previously released prior to Jawan’s release featured Shah Rukh Khan dancing in style. However, a more thorough version of the music video is in the film that also features Atlee joining King Khan and the girl gang. A source close to the entertainment portal Bollywood Hungama shared, “A lot of moviegoers were left wondering who this person who makes a massy appearance in the song and not just shakes a leg with Shah Rukh Khan but even wears similar clothes as the superstar.”
Another industry insider added, “Shah Rukh Khan and the team at Red Chillies Entertainment knew that Atlee is not known in the Hindi speaking markets and his presence might puzzle viewers as they might not recognize him. SRK could have got any Bollywood or even South superstar for that part. Yet, he chose to give Atlee the respect that he rightfully deserves.”
Meanwhile, the moment has finally arrived! Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Jawan’ has made its grand debut in theatres, and the level of excitement among fans has reached an all-time high. Today, on September 7, the film graced the silver screen, drawing massive crowds and sparking jubilant celebrations as eager moviegoers rushed to catch the crack-of-dawn 6 a.m. screenings. Yes, you read that correctly. Social media is currently ablaze with videos showcasing exuberant gatherings outside cinema halls, as enthusiastic fans gather for the very first show of the day, overflowing with anticipation. And guess what? It gets even better. Reports are flooding in about police officers being dispatched to multiple theatres to manage the colossal SRK fanbase, which has gone absolutely bonkers with joy over the release of their beloved star’s movie.
Jawan has already created a history at the box office as the film has sold more than one million tickets in India. If advance sales are anything to go by, Jawan has earned over Rs 37 crores gross globally. Meanwhile, Mahesh Babu sent his best wishes to SRK for the release of Jawan and said that he’d be watching the movie in a theatre with his family. Jawan is likely to feature special cameos by South superstars Thalapathy Vijay and Allu Arjun of Pushpa fame.
Jawan is a Red Chillies Entertainment presentation directed by Atlee, produced by Gauri Khan, and co-produced by Gaurav Verma. The film releases worldwide today in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages.
