Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja hosted a star-studded grand welcome party for former English footballer David Beckham on November 15. David Beckham is presently in India for work commitments as a Global Ambassador for UNICEF. Several photos and videos capturing the glamorous night are currently circulating on the internet. One such album was shared by Farhan Akhtar’s wife Shibani Dandekar and it went viral in no time.
On Thursday, Shibani Akhtar Dandekar took to her Instagram handle, where she posted a bunch of pictures featuring her and her husband Farhan Akhtar posing with David Beckham. The album also consisted of several photographs showing Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar talking to David Beckham along with Sonam Kapoor. There was also a group picture that showed David Beckham standing with Sanjay Kapoor, Maheep Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Malaika Arora, Shanaya Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor, Farhan Akhtar, Shibani Akhtar Dandekar and others.

Before heading to the party, Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja welcomed David Beckham at their building’s gate, striking a pose for the cameras alongside him. The guest list included Bollywood celebrities such as Anil Kapoor, Sanjay Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor, Mira Rajput, Karisma Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Malaika Arora, Farhan Akhtar and more. The star-studded event also saw the presence of Shibani Dandekar, Farhan Akhtar, and other notable personalities from the entertainment industry.
David Beckham attended the India vs New Zealand semi-final and met Sachin Tendulkar. He was also seen seated alongside the Bollywood couple Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani. One picture shows the trio standing, clapping, and cheering enthusiastically for Team India.
