Shah Rukh Khan is the biggest superstar in the Hindi film industry. He has been a part of some of the biggest films and is considered among the most popular actors in India. The actor has a massive fan following among the audience, and people flock to theatres to watch his films on the big screen. He is awaiting the release of his third film of the year, Dunki.
As per Bollywood Hungama, more than 150,000 fans, registered with SRK’s fan club, SRK Universe, are uniting to watch the film on its opening day in India. The fan club has shared their extensive plans for Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki on social media. According to sources close to the entertainment portal, SRK Universe alone is put together 1000 shows worldwide, with over 600 scheduled in India. Besides SRK Universe, SRK has two other major fan clubs – SRK Warriors and King SRK FC – organising first-day fan shows across the country.
The trade source informed, “SRK today is the biggest star by a huge margin and the fan celebrations are just another validation of his global star power.” Moreover, the fan clubs will engage in grassroots promotions for Dunki by independently collaborating with cinema owners, whether they operate single screens or multiplexes.
There is also a lot of hype among the audience regarding the film. Now, it has been found that the fans of SRK and Dunki are travelling from all over the world to India to watch the film. Shah Rukh Khan’s fan clubs, which are famous for their innovative ways of connecting with the star and promoting his films, are once again doing something unique for his upcoming film Dunki. As the film’s story is about travelling through a foreign land using the “donkey” technique, which means travelling through an illegal route, the fans have opted for a legal route and have decided to come to India and watch the film. The feeling of travelling for loved ones has resonated strongly with the fans, creating a beautiful parallel with the film’s story.
