Arshad Warsi Reviews Ranbir Kapoor's Animal: 'Insanely Fantastic'
Arshad Warsi lauded Ranbir Kapoor for his "fantastic" performance in Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Animal and called the film a "masterpiece".

Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s film Animal has been grabbing attention since its inception. The movie, led by Ranbir Kapoor, showcases an intense depiction of violence and gore, but there is unanimous acclaim for Ranbir Kapoor’s exceptional portrayal of the character Ranvijay. As celebrities continue to share their thoughts on social media, Arshad Warsi has recently added his voice to the admirers.

On Wednesday morning, Arshad Warsi took to his X handle (formerly known as Twitter) to shower praise on the high-octane action entertainer. After watching the film on Tuesday, he found it to be “insanely fantastic.” The Munna Bhai MBBS actor was particularly impressed by Ranbir Kapoor’s brilliant performance in Animal, going so far as to suggest that the actor’s parents Neetu Kapoor and Rishi Kapoor came together because the world needed Ranbir Kapoor. Thanking the entire team, Arshad Warsi called Animal a “masterpiece.”

Take a look at the post here:

“I saw ANIMAL yesterday… Sandeep Reddy Vanga and the film are INSANELY FANTASTIC. I think Rishiji & Neetuji met because the world needed Ranbir Kapoor. There is no boundary to this man’s talent. Anil Kapoor, Rashmika Mandana, Bobby Deol and team ANIMAL, Thank you for this masterpiece,” tweeted Arshad Warsi.

Meanwhile, Adnan Sami also shared his thoughts on the movie. He wrote a long message on social media asking people to stop criticising the film’s morality. He mentioned that even classic movies like Amar Akbar Anthony, Deewaar, and Sholay had scenes that didn’t make sense. Adnan Sami also brought up The Godfather as an example where we cheer for the bad characters. Even though he hasn’t seen Animal, he believes artists have the right to express themselves.

Animal was one of the most highly anticipated films of 2023. Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Bhushan Kumar, and Krishan Kumar’s T-Series, Murad Khetani’s Cine1 Studios, and Pranay Reddy Vanga’s Bhadrakali Pictures have backed the movie. It clashed with Vicky Kaushal’s Sam Bahadur at the box office. Starring Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Triptii Dimri, and Bobby Deol, Animal earned Rs 481 crore worldwide in just 5 days. The film hit the theatres on December 1 in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu language.
