Anupam Kher Shares Inside Pictures From Sets Of Chhota Bheem
Anupam Kher shared a series of pictures featuring child actors and the crew members of Chhota Bheem live action movie.

Chhota Bheem, a beloved cartoon, has been a source of entertainment and captured the hearts of children for many years. Last year, it was announced that the cartoon is making its way to the big screen with the live action film titled Chhota Bheem And The Curse of Damyaan. Veteran actor Anupam Kher, who plays the character Guru Sambhu, had shared an exciting teaser that featured an intense fighting sequence and glimpse of various characters including Chutki, Raju, Tuntun Mausi and many more, which left many excited. In a recent Instagram post, the Freelancer star happily announced the completion of the film’s shooting. Along with the wrap announcement, Kher shared a series of pictures featuring child actors and the crew members, providing fans a behind the scenes (BTS) look of this eagerly awaited movie.

Kher’s social media post featured the actor in his character costume, offering a sneak peek into the movie. In several pictures, the veteran star posed with child actors, highlighting the camaraderie on set. A group photo captured the entire cast and crew, while the final snapshot featured Kher with the film’s director, Rajiv Chilaka. Sharing the post, the actor wrote, “And it is a wrap for the Chhota Bheem movie. What a beautiful experience. The children acting in the film are sensational. Got to learn so much from them about acting and spontaneity. Thank you director Rajiv Chilaka and the entire team for this joy ride. Love and prayers always. Till we meet again. Jai Ho.”

Rajiv Chilaka replied, “Dear Anupam sir. It was an honour working with you sir. Very inspired by your mere presence and thank you for guiding me during the shots.”

The announcement of Chhota Bheem And The Curse of Damyaan took place in Mumbai in 2023, during the time when the original cartoon celebrated its 15 year anniversary. While Anupam Kher will be seen as Guru Shambhu, Makarand Deshpande will play Skandhi. The main character, Chhota Bheem, has been played by talented Yagya Bhasin, Aashriya Mishra plays Chutki, while Surabhi Tiwari takes on the role of Tuntun Mausi in this upcoming live action adaptation.

As per Mid-Day, director Rajiv Chilaka earlier said, “Chhota Bheem is one of the most beloved characters in the world of animation. It was high time we brought him to life and I am certain that children and the whole family everywhere will adore it. Our cast has done remarkable work on this film and I can hardly wait to share it with you all.”

On the work front, Anupam Kher will be seen in Vijay 69, followed by Kangana Ranaut’s Emergency and Signature.
