The trailer shows Ranbir Kapoor’s troubled relationship with his father Balbir (played by Anil Kapoor) and how it changes (for better or worse).

Ranbir Kapoor has been in the headlines after Animal trailer was released. Fans are eagerly waiting for its release. The action thriller also stars Anil Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna and Bobby Deol. Well, the makers have organised pre-release event in Hyderabad and all stars are there to promote the film. Ahead of the event, they were seen interacting with the media when Anil Kapoor revealed why he said yes to the film and praised Bobby Deol for his performance.

As mentioned in Pinkvilla, Anil Kapoor said, “Bhushan (Kumar) Ji aye, unhone kaha ki Ranbir Kapoor film ke hero hai aur film ki kahani yeh hai ke father aur ye son hai aur yeh son aur yeh father hai aur ek do line boli, maine bola ‘done.’ I said yes to the film. Sandeep ji (Sandeep Reddy Vanga) was directing the film, Bhushan ji was producing the film and Ranbir was there in the film so that was enough for me to say yes.”

Praising Bobby Deol, he said, “And then of course, when I came to know Bobby is also here in the film so I was, I cannot tell how happy I was and the way Bobby has worked hard in this film is unbelievable. Bobby bole meri shooting kab ayegi aur jab ayi you have seen what he has done.

The trailer shows Ranbir Kapoor’s troubled relationship with his father Balbir (played by Anil Kapoor) and how it changes (for better or worse). Ranbir Kapoor’s character has idolised his father ever since childhood but his love has never been reciprocated. It would be fair to say that Ranbir’s villain arc begins at home.

Animal marks Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s second directorial venture in Bollywood, after Shahid Kapoor’s Kabir Singh. Animal marks the first collaboration between Sandeep and Ranbir. The film is scheduled to be released in theatres on December 1. The film revolves around the problematic relationship between a father and son.
