Marathi actor Gashmeer Mahajani, whose father Ravindra Mahajani passed away recently, has shared an update on his official social media, showing the world that he is back in business. On his official Instagram account, Gashmeer shared a lively reel, conveying his resurgence in the world of entertainment.
In the video, he exhibited his energetic dance prowess to the tunes of Dada Kondke’s iconic track, Dhagla Lagi Kal. Accompanied by two fellow dancers dressed in black, Gashmeer showcased his moves at his GRM Dance Studio, with the video expertly shot by Creative Cutz.
The Marathi caption accompanying the video roughly translates to, “If you want to start, then start in your style…having fun with my people after a long hiatus.” Encouragingly, fans flooded the comments section with expressions of support and enthusiasm. Gashmeer Mahajani’s father, veteran Marathi actor Ravindra Mahajani passed away on July 11, 2023, at 77. The deceased actor was found dead in his Pune apartment. According to reports, he suffered a cardiac arrest, and his body was found a few days later when the neighbours complained of a foul smell. He had been living separately from his family for some years now.
Reports stated further that Gashmeer was not made aware of his father’s death soon, for which he was brutally trolled online. After the death of his father, he shared an Instagram story, which read, “Let’s let a star be a star. Me and my fellow people will ensure that by being silent.” In an interview, Gashmeer revealed that he was called an irresponsible son.
