Aishwarya Rai took to her Instagram handle on Friday evening to share rare photographs of her parents Krishnaraj Rai and Brindya Rai from their old days. In the throwback pictures, Aishwarya’s parents were seen flaunting their smiles as they posed for the cameras. Aishwarya’s father Krishnaraj Rai passed away in 2017.
“Love you eternally, dearest darling Mommy-Doddaaa❤️and Daddy-Ajjaaa❤️Much prayers and Love on your Anniversary God Bless,” Aishwarya wrote. Soon after the post was shared, Abhishek also liked it. Among others, Manish Malhotra and Richa Chadha also liked the post. Check it out here:

Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan tied the knot in April 2007. Recently, the couple attended Dhirubai Ambani International School’s annual day event, where their daughter Aaradhya is a student. Several videos from the event also went viral on social media. In one of the viral clips, Aishwarya and Abhishek were seen helping the former’s mother walk towards the car. While Aishwarya was seen holding her mother’s hand, Abhishek also stood behind her. The couple made sure their mother was comfortable. Following this, Abhishek turned around and held Aishwarya close to protect her from people around.
Dhirubai Ambani International School’s annual day also marked Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s first public appearance with father-in-law, megastar Amitabh Bachchan, since the reports about the latter allegedly unfollowing the actress on Instagram surfaced on the internet. Amitabh and Aishwarya were joined by Abhishek Bachchan and Agastya Nanda as they arrived at Aaradhya Bachchan’s school event and were snapped by the paparazzi.
On the work front, Aishwarya was last seen in the historical action drama Ponniyin Selvan: II. Directed by Mani Ratnam, the film was released in April this year and was widely loved by all.
