Namrata Shirodkar once revealed that she placed an important condition in front of Mahesh Babu before she agreed to marry him and shift to Hyderabad. The former actress was in a relationship with Mahesh Babu for five year before they decided to get married. The couple tied the knot in 2005. In an interview few years ago, Namrata revealed that she had asked Mahesh Babu to live in an apartment with her in Hyderabad before they move into his bungalow.
The reason, Namrata explained, was that she was not used to living in big houses and was scared. “We were very clear that we will live in an apartment first after marriage because I was from Mumbai, and I didn’t know how I would fit into these huge bungalows. I used to get scared so he moved into an apartment with me. That was my condition that if I’m going to come to Hyderabad, I will live in an apartment,” she told a Telugu YouTube channel named Prema – the journalist.
In the same interview, Namrata revealed her life changed after she married the Telugu star. She added that the ‘whole experience of being married is great’.
Mahesh Babu and Namrata got married in Mumbai on February 10, 2005. Following their wedding, Namrata left films and focused on her personal life. The couple welcomed their son, Gautam Krishna Gattamaneni on August 31, 2006. They then had a daughter, Sitara in 2012.
The couple recently made the headlines after Namrata shared a photo of the duo from a recent bash. Mahesh and Namrata showed up to celebrate their friend’s birthday and their pictures have left their fans gushing over the couple.
Namrata took to her Instagram to share photos from the event. The post was captioned, “About last night!! Happy birthday, @sabina.xavier stay blessed always ♥️♥️♥️.” In one photo, Mahesh held Namrata close as they posed with their friends before cutting the cake. They were all smiles as they fed cake to their friend. The photos revealed Mahesh Babu’s look seemingly from SS Rajamouli film.
