Ranveer Singh is known as a bundle of energy, always bringing humour and joy to every room he walks into. Whether mingling with the young crowd or the older generation, he manages to charm everyone alike. It’s this natural charisma that makes him one of the most loved stars in Bollywood, always ready to make people laugh. At a recent event, Ranveer shared a fun moment with Orry, also known as Orhan Awatramani, leaving everyone with a curious question: “What exactly does Orry do?”
On October 18, Orry, a social media sensation and close friend to many Bollywood stars, posted a video on Instagram featuring Ranveer Singh. In the clip, Ranveer humorously addresses two questions that seem to have puzzled fans for ages. The Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani star joked in Hindi, “Aksar baar, hamare desh me, boht zyada log puchte hai 2 sawaal. Pehla, ‘Kattappa ne Bahubali ko kyun mara?’ and doosra, ‘Ye Orry karta kya hai?’ (In our country, people often ask two questions. The first one being ‘Why did Kattappa kill Baahubali?’ and the second one ‘What does Orry do?’)”
Orry shared the clip with the caption, “These are the questions that haunt us,” and his delighted reaction as Ranveer mentioned him is not to be missed.
Ranveer has had quite an eventful time recently. On September 8, he and his wife, actress Deepika Padukone, welcomed their baby girl into the world. The actor is also gearing up for his role in Rohit Shetty’s highly anticipated film, Singham Again, which features a star-studded cast including Kareena Kapoor Khan, Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, Arjun Kapoor and Jackie Shroff. The film is slated for release on November 1.
Beyond that, there’s more on the horizon for Ranveer. According to an insider speaking with Pinkvilla, Ranveer will resume shooting for Aditya Dhar’s project in November. The source said, “We have had a very productive shoot in Bangkok, Thailand. Now, Ranveer is all set to get back to the shoot in November for the next schedule. We cannot give out details about the various locations at this point, but the excitement for the next chapter is extremely high after the high-quality product that we’ve seen on-screen with the first schedule.”
The film, set to be inspired by real stories from the archives of the Research and Analysis Wing (R&AW), is expected to make a splash in cinemas in the second half of 2025.
