Vivek Agnihotri Fires Bollywood ‘Lead Actor’ Because of His Manager, Says ‘He’s Employee of Huge…’
Vivek Agnihotri criticised actors' managers after he fired a leading Bollywood star over his manager's bad behaviour.

Vivek Agnihotri revealed he fired a leading Bollywood actor due to his manager. The filmmaker took to X and revealed that he fired the actor last week after an incident with his manager. He revealed that the manager was ‘arrogant’ with the filmmaker. Vivek added that the manager was from a ‘huge celeb’s star kid talent agency’. However, Vivek chose to keep the identity under the wraps.

The incident came to light after acclaimed casting director Mukesh Chhabra took to X and lamented over the multiple people who are involved in managing an actor. “The current state of the film industry: one actor, 200 casting directors, and 15,680 managers,” the casting director shared.

Reposting the statement, Vivek said, “I had to fire a lead actor last week because his manager was so arrogant and behaved as if he had the prerogative to be like this just because he is an employee of a ‘Huge Celeb’s’ Star Kid Talent Agency’. These middlemen have destroyed more careers than made it. Do a workshop and train these kids.”

Vivek Agnihotri has been busy with his upcoming film, The Delhi Files. Earlier this year, Vivek shared on X, “#TheDelhiFiles is going on floors this year, as scheduled. Release next year. No big stars. Only big content.” Vivek had mentioned that The Delhi Files would form the final installment in a trilogy that includes The Tashkent Files (2019) and The Kashmir Files.

Last year, he also announced his next project after The Delhi Files will be Parva. The film will be based on a Kannada book of the same that is written by S. L. Bhyrappa.
