Sanjay Dutt’s daughter Trishala has often spoken out on social media about her heartbreak after her boyfriend’s untimely death. During a Q&A session on Instagram on Tuesday, a follower asked her about the cause of his death, forcing Trishala to school him about appropriate etiquette.
The Instagram user asked Trishala, “Sorry to ask this but why haven’t you disclosed how your boyfriend passed away? What’s his name.” Trishala politely reminded the user that some things should not be asked.
She wrote, “I appreciate your question. I do. Let’s all be honest about basic human behavior and curiosity – Its natural to want to know how someone passed away. Even if it is ‘none of your business,’ right? The most inappropriate reaction is enquiring about the cause of death.”
In another Instagram session last month, Trishala had said that despite facing two deeply personal losses, she values her traumatic experiences the most in her life. When Trishala was an eight-year-old kid, she lost her mother Richa Sharma to a brain tumour. She suffered another loss when in 2019, her boyfriend passed away.
Trishala said that trauma can become a ‘powerful force for positive change.’ She added that the growth of a person after trauma is transformative. Speaking about her life, Trishala said that trauma made her find the path she would have not found otherwise. The 33-year-old psychotherapist further said that for her, the suffering can change into a search for the meaning of life, given the right environment and mindset.
