Tom Cruise Was 'Losing His Mind' At Twisters Premiere, Says Actor Anthony Ramos

Tom Cruise has a small group of close friends and Glen Powell is definitely in that circle. Their friendship grew stronger while filming Top Gun: Maverick. Recently, Tom Cruise showed his support for Powell by attending the London premiere of his new film, Twisters, a sequel to the 1996 hit. And reportedly, the Hollywood hunk had a fantastic time. Well, the action star’s excitement didn’t go unnoticed. According to actor Anthony Ramos, Tom Cruise was “losing his mind” at the screening. Ramos mentioned that Cruise didn’t shy away from expressing how much he enjoyed the movie to the cast, including Powell, Ramos and Daisy Edgar-Jones. As per Ramos, Tom was laughing and kicking seats in excitement throughout the movie.

Speaking with People, Ramos said, “Glen was sitting behind me, my brother was next to me and Tom was behind my brother. Tom just kept hitting me the whole entire movie. After the third time I turned back around, like, ‘Yo, Tom Cruise is bugging out right now.’ He keeps hitting me. He keeps hitting me because he’s excited about different moments and he’s laughing. He’s just laughing out loud the whole entire film. He wasn’t afraid to express himself. I was super grateful about that.”

After the film ended, Anthony Ramos shared that Tom Cruise gave him a warm hug. The Twisters star recounted, “We hugged it out. He’s like, ‘Yo, bro, good man, good stuff.’ So shout out to Tom Cruise, man. It was really cool.”

Not just Anthony Ramos, even Glenn Powell witnessed Tom Cruise’s excitement during the screening. While appearing on BBC’s The One Show, the Anyone but You star shared, “It was a pretty wild night. I mean the fun part was that Tom was next to me, Daisy was right behind me, Tony was right in front of me and for every second of this movie, Tom was just so excited for all of us. He’s turning around to Daisy being like ‘that was great.’ It is such a cool quality, he is such a rare individual who just really roots for everybody.”

Glenn Powell shared that Twisters is a big summer movie and really lives up to expectations. He described the excitement of watching it with an audience, especially with Tom Cruise. The star was not only getting the crowd excited but he was laughing loudly and cheering.
