This Rajkumar Hirani Hit Film Inspired Kiara Advani To Pursue Acting Career

Kiara Advani is one of the prominent actresses in Bollywood with remarkable acting prowess that makes her a delight to watch on screen. Many people would not know that she didn’t want to become an actress. She aspired to become a journalist and even secured a degree in the Bachelor of Arts course in mass communication. She completed her BA from the Jai Hind College in Mumbai. Her preferences reportedly changed after watching the film 3 Idiots, directed by Rajkumar Hirani. She liked all the characters in this film, especially Pia’s character enacted by Kareena Kapoor. She talked about this aspect of her life in The Kapil Sharma Show.

The Satyaprem Ki Katha actress said her father was reluctant to let her join the film industry. According to her, it is natural for parents to worry about their children who want to try their luck in the film industry. Her parents are not from the film industry and thus were worried about her safety. Kiara said they wanted her to try something else but acting. But, as per her words, her parents knew that she always wanted to act in life. The Satyaprem Ki Katha actress recalled the profound impact the film 3 Idiots had on her father and then he agreed to support her in this journey.

Upcoming Projects

Kiara will next act in the film Game Changer directed by S Shankar. The makers of this film unveiled a new poster to mark her birthday. In the poster, Kiara looks gorgeous draped in an embellished red blouse, heavy jewellery and a purple petticoat. She had worn the same outfit in a music video titled Jaragandi released earlier this year. Unveiling the poster, the production house also revealed the name of Kiara’s character in the upcoming film. “Team Game Changer wishes our Jabilamma Aka Kiara Advani, a very Happy Birthday. Her vibrant energy will soon enchant your hearts,” the team wrote.

Game Changer will see Kiara playing the lead role alongside Ram Charan. Earlier this year, producer Dil Raju hinted at the release date of the film adding that it could release at the halls in less than 6 months. The producer hinted at a September release date. However, an official confirmation of the film’s release date is yet to be out in the public domain.
