Universal’s much-awaited Jurassic World 4, which is gearing up to open up a new era for the franchise, has locked an “incredible” script. The new Jurassic World film was announced in January this year with David Koepp, following which names of Hollywood biggies like Scarlett Johansson and Jonathan Bailey were attached. Amid the speculations, the Black Widow star has finally confirmed her casting, further sharing details on the next Jurassic instalment.
Speaking to ComicBook during the promotion of her new movie, Fly Me to the Moon, Johansson expressed her excitement over being a part of her favourite franchise.
“I’m an enormous Jurassic Park fan. It’s one of the first films I remember seeing in the theater. I remember seeing it so vividly. It was like life-changing. It was mind-blowing. I cannot express how excited I am,” she said. Exuding true Jurassic fan vibes, Johansson called herself a “huge nerd,” further revealing she had been trying for over 10 years to get into the franchise. “I’m like, ‘I’ll die in the first five minutes! I can get eaten by whatever! I’ll do the craft service!’ I’ll do anything for it. The fact that it’s happened in this way at this time just is actually unbelievable. I can’t believe it,” she continued.
Scarlett Johansson Speaks About Jurassic World 4 Script
Providing a promising update on the film’s script, the actress revealed how Koepp has been passionately engrossed in it. “The script is so incredible. David Koepp wrote it. He returned after about 30 years to write the script. He’s so passionate about it, which is so awesome,” she said.
It is pertinent to note that one of the franchise veterans, David Koepp, who wrote the first two Jurassic Park movies, has been brought on board for Jurassic World 4.
