Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister Shweta Singh Kirti often remembers her late brother via her social media posts. On Tuesday too, Shweta took to her Instagram handle and shared a 10-year-old photo of the Kai Po Che actor. In the picture, SSR was seen smiling as he looked into the camera. “Google photos reminded me… 10 years back on the same day,” he wrote.

Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his Mumbai apartment in June 2020. While some suspected to be a case of death by suicide, others had alleged foul play. Her sister has been fighting for justice ever since.
In April this year, Shweta Singh Kirti launched an online campaign to seek justice for her brother’s death. She announced ‘Nany 4 SSR Jan Andolan’. As a part of this campaign, Shweta urged everyone to tie a red cloth on their wrist or forehead, post the video on social media and request agencies to give justice to the late actor.
Prior to this, in the month of March, Shweta issued a video statement and urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to look into the CBI probe regarding her actor-brother’s death. In her statement, Shweta shared that it’s been 45 months since her brother passed away but they still do not have any update from the investigating agency. She argued that Prime Minister Modi’s help will not only fasten the probe but will also provide relief to “howling hearts”.
“Namastey. I am Shweta Singh Kirti. I am Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister. I am recording this message for our Prime Minister Modi ji. I wanted to bring to your attention that this is the 45th month of Bhai’s passing away and we still don’t know any updates on the investigation that is being conducted by the CBI. I would highly request your intervention into the matter because as a family and as a country, we are grappling with so many answered questions in this case,” Shweta Singh Kirti said.
