The Sivakarthikeyan starrer, tentatively titled SK23, written and directed by AR Murugadoss, has been creating a buzz since its announcement. Fans were eagerly waiting for more updates on the film. The film was shot under the working title SK23. Now, according to the latest reports, the makers have finalised the film’s official title.
Reports suggest AR Murugadoss’s upcoming film has been titled Singhanai and is made in the action genre. A formal announcement on this is expected soon.
A few days back, the makers made an addition to the cast. They added actor Vikranth Santhosh to the team. Vikranth confirmed the news on Twitter and wrote, “Elated to be a part of @ARMmurugadoss sir’s film. It’s a dream to work with a master filmmaker. Thank you, sir. Double the fun working with @Siva_Karthikeyan brother #SKxARM”. Sharing the news, the actor also added a photo of himself holding a gun. Take a look at the post:

The film features an outstanding cast including Sanjay Dutt, Vidyut Jammwal, Biju Menon and others. As per reports, Vidyut Jammwal will be seen playing the main antagonist, with Kannada actress Rukmini Vasanth playing the female lead, marking her debut in Tamil cinema.
The film’s technical team includes Anirudh Ravichander, who will compose music for SK23. Sudeep Elamon has joined the project as a cinematographer. A Sreekar Prasad will be handling the editing of the film. SK23 is being jointly produced by Sony Pictures and Kamal Haasan’s RajKamal Film International. The shooting for this film began in February, and the release date has yet to be revealed.
Apart from SK23, Sivakarthikeyan also has Amaran in his pipeline. This upcoming Tamil biographical action-war film is written and directed by Rajkumar Periasamy. Raaj Kamal Films International and Sony Pictures Films India collaborated in its production.
The film stars Sivakarthikeyan in the role of Major Mukund Varadarajan, alongside Sai Pallavi, Bhuvan Arora, Rahul Bose, Lallu, Hanun Bawra, Ajaey Naga Raaman, Mir Salman, Gaurav Venkatesh, and Shreekumar in other pivotal roles. It is based on Shiv Aroor and Rahul Singh’s book series India’s Most Fearless, which is based on Mukund Varadarajan.
