Shahid Kapoor Promises ‘Edgy Action Thriller’ in His Next Film Deva, Shares Details

The actor took to Instagram to announce his new film on the occasion of Dusssehra last year. Shahid Kapoor will be having buzz cut look for the cop film.

Shahid Kapoor is currently gearing up for his next romantic drama Teri Baaton Mein Uljha Jiya with Kriti Sanon. The film is releasing on February 9 and ahead of the release Shahid conducted an Ask Me session. Fans were also quick enough to ask questions about his next film Deva. To note, the first look was released on October 24, 2023.

A fan asked him, “Sir any details about the movie #Deva ?” To this Shahid replied, “It’s an edgy action thriller lots of action and thrill and very character driven out on 11th October.” Shahid Kapoor will be having buzz cut look for the cop film. The actor took to Instagram to announce his new film on the occasion of Dusssehra last year.

He also shared the first look in which Shahid appeared to be playing the role of a police officer in the movie. In the photo, Shahid was seen flaunting his short hairdo while holding a gun in his hand. The actor sported a bracelet and wore a half-button shirt with a pair of khakee pants. Shahid completed his look with a pair of sunglasses that reminded us of Kabir Singh. Sharing the photo, Shahid revealed that he is locking Dussehra 2024 for Deva. “DEVA in theatres on Dussehra 11th October 2024,” he wrote. The film also stars Pooja Hegde.

Deva will be directed by Rosshan Andrrews and is produced by Zee Studios and Roy Kapur Films.
