For the pre-wedding ceremonies of Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal in Udaipur, the crème de la crème of Bollywood such as Shah Rukh Khan along with his wife Gauri, Aishwarya Rai along with Abhishek Bachchan, Priyanka Chopra and Salman Khan performed at the high-profile function.
Shah Rukh charmed the crowd by shaking a leg with Gauri and wooing her on-stage during the sangeet ceremony. As the couple stole the show with their scintillating dance moves, their outfits added more glamour to the performance setting the stage on fire.
In a black Sherwani and a silver sequined drape around his neck, Shah Rukh reminded us of his traditional look from Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gum wedding dance. On the other hand, Gauri was seen in a traditional lehenga and choli with intricate floral detailing.
The other couple who danced the night away was Aishwarya and Abhishek. The two looked ravishing in their red outfits grooving to Bollywood dance numbers.
Apart from the celebrities, the parents of the bride-to-be, Nita and Mukesh Ambani performed with their sons Anant and Akash on Kal Ho Naa Ho’s wedding track Maahi Ve , a track from Jab Tak Hai Jaan and Khabar Nahi from Dostana during Isha’s sangeet on Saturday.
Isha is set to tie the knot with Ajay and Swati Piramal's son Anand in an extremely private affair in Mumbai on December 12.
Global CEOs, including steel magnate Lakshmi Mittal, BP group chief executive Bob Dudley, 21st Century Fox CEO James Murdoch and Diageo CEO Ivan Menezes, among others, descended on Rajasthan's City of Lakes to attend the celebrations of the daughter of RIL Chairman, along with prominent politicians and movie stars.
The guest list also includes former US secretary of state and Democratic candidate in the 2016 presidential election Hillary Clinton and Maharashtra chief minister Devendra Fadnavis. American singer Beyonce has also arrived in Udaipur to perform at the pre-wedding celebrations of Isha.
The couple got engaged at Lake Como in Italy in September at a gala gathering that was attended by several Bollywood celebrities.
